Technology Transfer Services Recipient of the IACET 2012 Exemplar Award for External Training

September 06, 2012 – Technology Transfer Services (TTS), builder of immersive learning environments through the combination of virtual worlds, instructor-led training, site-specific training, custom eLearning, and simulation, was honored as the 2012 recipient of the International Association for Continuing Education & Training (IACET) Exemplar Award for External Training.

“We received a tremendous response to the Call for Nominations this year and were extremely pleased with the quality of the applications submitted. We congratulate Technology Transfer Services on being selected as the recipient of IACET’s 2012 Exemplar Award for External Training,” states Francenia Johnson IACET President. “We are proud to have Technology Transfer Services, Inc. as an IACET Authorized Provider.”

The IACET Awards Reception, held at the Lorien Hotel in Alexandria, VA, on August 23rd, 2012, marks the first time a maintenance and operations training company has won the award. LeAnne Selman, M.Ed., an Instructional Designer at TTS, represented the innovative training provider at the annual awards ceremony where TTS received the Exemplar Award for External Training. The project submitted for award consideration included the blended learning training that was delivered for a global energy company.
