Information Collection & Use
You must register to access some functionality provided by this site or www.myodesie.com. During registration you are required to give contact information including your name, company, and email address. We use this information to allow you to access appropriate content you have licensed and to allow you to track your personal progress and completion data.
TTS is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. TTS only collects personally identifiable information from you if and when you explicitly allow us to do so. We use this information only to respond to your request(s), maintain your records related to learning events, and to allow you to use the authorized site functionality.
In order to successfully purchase content within www.myodesie.com, you are required to provide your credit card information to a third-party payment processor. Payment information is not saved or retained by TTS.
From time-to-time, we may provide you the opportunity to participate in surveys on our site. If you participate, we will request certain personally identifiable information from you. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as your name and company), and demographic information (such as address information).
We use this information to monitor site traffic, personalize the site in the case of anonymous information collected in surveys, or publish industry survey results. Participants may also be asked to sign up for an email newsletter, which is optional.
We will not share the personally identifiable information you provide through a survey with any third parties unless we give you prior notice and choice.
Uses of Information
Information you provide will only be used for the purpose stated and will never be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Results of completion, testing, certifications, transcripts or award of CEUs will not be shared with third parties. Only you and the designated administrator(s) for your organization will have direct access to this information. However, you may access and copy this personally identifiable information at any time to forward to third parties if you so choose.
If you request information about a specific service or offering of TTS, then you will be contacted to discuss that service or related services provided by TTS. Please see the “Choice and Opt-out” section. Survey information will be used for the stated purpose in the survey description. The results of surveys to collect industry statistics will be published on the site, but no personally identifiable information will be made public. Surveys related to site improvement will only be used by TTS internally to enhance the user experience on our site.
Communications from the Site
We will occasionally send you information on service offerings or updates on TTS services and ODESIE®. Out of respect for your privacy, we present the option not to receive these types of communications. Please see the “Choice and Opt-out.”
If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter, we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. Out of respect for your privacy, we provide you a way to unsubscribe. Please see the “Choice and Opt-out” section.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Aggregate Information (non-personally identifiable)
While we collect aggregated demographic information, we do not share such information about our user base with third parties. We do not link aggregate user data with personally identifiable information.
Personally Identifiable Information
We do not link aggregate user data with personally identifiable information and we DO NOT share Personally Identifiable Information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.
We may provide your personally identifiable information to companies that provide services to help us with our business activities such as our hosting services provider. These companies are authorized to use your personally identifiable information only as necessary to provide these services to us.
We provide you the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of having your personally identifiable information used for certain purposes, when we ask for this information. For example, if you participate in a survey but do not wish to receive any additional marketing material from us, you can indicate your preference on our registration form.
If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each newsletter or communication or by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.
We do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.
Cookies & Other Tracking Technologies
This technology is used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.
We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser.
A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive containing a session ID which is valid for one hour.
If you reject cookies, you may still use our sites, but your ability to use some areas of our sites will be limited.
The essential one is the session cookie, usually called MoodleSession, if you access online modules from this site. You must allow this cookie into your browser to provide continuity and maintain your login from page to page. When you log out or close the browser this cookie is destroyed (in your browser and on the server). The other cookie is purely for convenience, usually called MOODLEID. It just remembers your username within the browser. This means when you return to this site the username field on the login page will be already filled out for you. It is safe to refuse this cookie – you will just have to retype your username every time you log in.
Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)
We employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our customers’ personally identifiable information.
We use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. If you would like to opt-out of these emails, please see “Choice and Opt-out.”
We use Local Storage Objects (LSOs) such as HTML5 or Flash to store content information and preferences. Third parties do not have access to these LSOs.
To manage Flash LSOs please click here:
We do not partner with a third party to either display advertising on our Web site or to manage our advertising on other sites.

The security of your personally identifiable information and our clients’ information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number to our third party payment processor, login credentials) on our order forms, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personally identifiable information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personally identifiable information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Registered Learner Information
Retention and Releasing of Records
In the event that you register for an event that awards CEUs through ODESIE® at www.myodesie.com, TTS maintains the permanent record of CEUs earned for each learner who successfully completes a learning event. When participants enroll in an ODESIE® learning event, the support staff maintains a computerized record of the registration information, including course title, date, and number of CEUs assigned. These records are backed up nightly and stored in a secure database. The permanent records are kept for 7 years and are available to be issued upon request by the learner. These records will be available via email. The learners’ records are kept private and secure by the TTS IACET Review Team, who maintain the registration and completion records of continuing education events.
Retention and Release of Learners Records
All TTS ODESIE® learners have the right to review their educational records. Transcripts can be requested on http://www.myodesie.com/. If unable to access the site, learners should contact the TTS IACET Review Team for a “CEU Transcript Order Form.” The form plus any applicable fees should be mailed, faxed, or emailed to the TTS IACET Review Team. Upon review of the application, the learner will receive record of attendance and participation plus documentation of any applicable CEUs within 7-10 business days of TTS IACET Review Team receiving the request form and applicable fees. All learner records will remain on file with the TTS IACET Review Team for at least seven years.
The TTS IACET Review Team maintains and issues upon request a record of each individual’s participation in continuing education activities for which CEUs are awarded. Only those successfully meeting the established requirements for an activity are awarded CEUs.
